Your child's smile is our top priority.
We want your child's dental experience to be positive right from the start. You can help by emphasizing the positive aspects of regular dental care and a healthy mouth. Young children often fear unfamiliar situations, be reassuring. Kindness is the best tool to start your child on the way to a lifetime of good dental health. Working together, we can overcome any apprehension your child may have.
Our entire team is educated and dedicated to providing your children with the personalized, gentle care that they deserve.
At the office of Gail V. Plauka, D.M.D. & Associates, our mission is to provide our patients with leading care; these high standards enable us to provide the quality dental services our patients deserve.
As a practice, we believe that preventative care and education are crucial to optimal dental health. Our team strives to provide the foundation of dental care vs. treating dental disease. This is why our focal point is on thorough exams- checking your child's teeth and taking the necessary dental x-rays. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, fluoride and sealants are an important way in preventing dental disease, as well as partnership with patients and parents to educate about proper oral home care. Our team lays the foundation for a lifetime of good dental health, starting from infancy.
We also provide our patients with uncompromising safety. Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Dr. Gail and her team are HIPPA and OSHA compliant and we attend yearly seminars by local and national authorities to remain up to date. As your dental team, we want to give you the best possible services and results. We are committed to continuing education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern pediatric dental office can use to provide your child with state of the art dental care.
Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients like family is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, but we can help make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.
