At the office of Gail V. Plauka, DMD,PC & Associates, we are laying the foundation for a lifetime of good dental health.
We want your child’s dental experience to be positive right from the start. You can help by emphasizing the positive aspects of regular dental care and a healthy mouth. Talk to your child about the importance of their dental visit. Avoid projecting any fears you might have about dental treatment. Instead, expect your child to react well and he or she probably will.
If your child is afraid, be reassuring. Kindness is the best tool to start your child on the way to a lifetime of good dental health. Young children often cry when faced with unfamiliar situations. Working together, we can overcome any apprehension your child may have.
