Gail V. Plauka, D.M.D. Dr. Plauka is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar of Wake Forest University. She completed her dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1978; then completed a one-year residency in General Dentistry at Eugene Talmadge Memorial Hospital followed by a two-year residency in Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Plauka is on the staff of Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association, Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Plauka has enjoyed speaking at regional and national pediatric dental conferences. Licensed to practice dentistry in Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia, Dr. Plauka has practice dentistry in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake since 1985.

Deborah R. Blanchard, D.D.S., F.A.G.D. Dr. Blanchard is a licensed dentist in the state of Virginia. She is a graduate of the School of International Service, American University in Washington, D.C.  She is a Cum Laude scholar from The School of Dentistry, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.   She received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the Navy Dental Clinic in Norfolk, Va. in 2005.  She earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) award in 2009.  Dr. Blanchard is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Women’s Dental Network.  She is currently serving as Secretary for the Virginia Beach Dental Study Club.  Dr. Blanchard has practiced dentistry at Boone Health Clinic, Little Creek, VA, Town Center Family Dentistry in Virginia Beach, and Harbourview Dental Center in Suffolk.
